February sucks......

February is about to finished.. n Thank God is about to finish.... because its very bad month for me.... first there was assessment test took 10 days n then don't know why but SCWCD reading doesn't happened as I wished...... and most frustrating thing is office work.... working on DB split n it's going on very very bad..... database size touched 800 GB so client n badde log of project had decided to split DB in two parts... one is Admin DB that will store master data & sample/client data and other one will store user data.... at start we think there will be small changes in code.. only when fetching data, only query changes but oh boy..... main object of project fetches data from both DB n there it is stucked.... not a single % my work completed in last 10 days n still I don't know how to solve this problem...... hmmmm :( ......its not a new thing in my project that plan is delay... most of the time, it was delayed in previous releases.... but this time, its serious.. client had already declared on site that site will be closed for so n so date n it means they r expecting us to complete work on time this time... I don't mind to stay late nights if it works for projects.... but then there is visit at surat next week n..... don't know... may be i need to cancel my visit.... Let see...
only one graceful thing continues in this month n that's gym.... thankfully I am able to continue gym n lost 1 and half kg.. hopefully by end of next month, weight will be under 70....

Cousin's Marriage

Last weekend, we went to Bharuch to attend Rita's marriage. Rita is my mother's sister's daughter and she is software engineer, doing job at surat.
This marriage was a bit different for me than others as most of the relatives are from village, not from city like other marriages I attended. and I clearly see the differences... There was no hotel, guest house bookings, all sleeps at Masa's home together, at night u could see people sleeping everywhere, where ever they found place n bed, in gallery, in lobby, in parking... and add on that, there was lot of mosquitoes, u couldn't sleep without blanket and yet no one complains. That's the real India I guess..... real difference between People from City and Village, City people are to more used to comfort and cosiness while Village people are just happy to being together and kick of comforts......
Marriage was good and I enjoyed every bit of that, meeting my cousin brothers after a long time...
After marriage, we came back to surat and I was surprised by see lot of Barat(Jan) in city. There was some hundreds marriages on that day in city and I wonder it is the same city where 20 people from Diamond Industries committed suicide due to Job loss & Financial Crisis.... People saying its recession time, very bad time to spend each rupee and Then there was hundreds of marriages happening in same city in a day.... I remembered one of my friend's brother said one day, He doesn't mind expenses of his wife pregnancy bills.... He is very happy to pay that.. I thought after all u have to earn that much even if u doesn't mind it.. But that's the India Buddy.....

Different Seasons...

Whenever I visit some place, I always wonder how this place looks like before 100 years, 10 years or just before 2 months (in different season) and that's why I loved when some one send me old pictures of famous places..

Here I am posting pic of nice place in different season, Thanks to dear friend Avinash Wable, I am lucky to see one of this kind and like to share with all.....

Both the photos are clicked in the Tamhini Ghat (Near Pune) by Avinash .
(the corner just before Tata Power pipeline while going from Pune).

The first one is clicked on 24 July 2006 while going to Harihareshwar. (Sony DSC60)

The second one is clicked on 27 January 2009 while returning from Konkan trip. (Canon EOS Rebel XS)

You can see almost same location in both the photos... Good accuracy by Avinash :)…
