Some Thoughts

Budget released this week..... I was at the office that time, first thing I had checked about tax slabs... how much it would effect in my take home... and i was disappointed.....
strange.. next morning, in times, I read these lines.... "Our interest in the Budget revolves mostly around out immediate concerns: will I take home a fatter salary, will my investments yield higher returns, will my business benefit? our budget edition seeks to address such concerns. but there is another India that many of us have only a passing acquaintance with. its an India of several hundred million people who barely make a few rupees a day. They live without a roof over their head and die without medical treatment. They can not write or spell their names.... its time we gave the other India hope of a better life.... not just because it's the right thing to do, but also because if we don't, 'our India' won't grow and prosper in the long run.." .... very true...
really we are very selfish, Hippocrates... first we thought only about our take home, our benefits then when go out side and see poor peoples, bad roads and we scolded government for not doing anything about these..... very bad....
ya but one thing I surely still not understand is tax structure.... when I was in MCA, one of my friends who was studying CS that time, he said that rule is that if tax is implemented on one thing, another type of tax must not implements on that thing... I was student at that time and don't know government will deduct tax direct from my salary, even before it comes to my hand.. :( ..... so I didn't argue anything that time... but now I know a bit.. a bit only... so when we met last time, I asked him that you told me that rule, but I didn't get that yet, Ones I paid tax from income, why should I pay tax on things I buy like VAT.... like entertainment tax at cinema and then he said... you paid tax on your income from your salary, at cinema u r paying entertainment tax, when u buy something u r paying sales tax ... so its not the same, its different.. rule is that you can't pay tax twice on the same thing but here things r changed, transformed from one thing to another, when u r buy raw material, u have to pay tax on that.. when u buy some furnished thing from that raw material, its the different thing so u have to pay another tax... so its like energy can't be destroyed, it just transformed from one form to another....
aah... its difficult.. not for me that's the sure.... even Albert Einstein can not understand, how can I..... but then vice verse also not true....what Einstein understands, I can not even understand those things.... hmmmmmmmmm

Funny Poem......

Got it one of forwarded mails....
Don't know weather it's wining poem or not but you its funny and sarcastic and I feel worth to share.... so enjoy.....

WASHINGTON POST COMPETITION ASKED FOR A TWO-LINE RHYME WITH THE MOST ROMANTIC FIRST LINE, BUT THE LEAST ROMANTIC SECOND LINE

This is the winner:-

My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife,
Marrying you screwed up my life.

I see your face when I am dreaming.
That's why I always wake up screaming.

Kind, intelligent, loving and hot;
This describes everything you are not.

I thought that I could love no other --
that is until I met your brother.

Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl's empty and so is your head.

I want to feel your sweet embrace;
But don't take that paper bag off your face.

I love your smile, your face, and your eyes --
Damn, I'm good at telling lies!

My love, you take my breath away.
What have you stepped in to smell this way?

My feelings for you no words can tell,
Except for maybe “ 'Go to hell. ” '

What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Two parts tequila, one part lime JJJ

First Trek of this monsoon....

Nothing beats the nature.. truly.... no matter how much money we spent on AC to create cool weather.... still we can't beat the nature.....
This Sunday, We went to trek at sinhgadh to enjoy rainy season and lush green environment and it's more than worth..... as sir said in his blog, that monsoon is the season to be enjoyed... and it was the first trek with my team..office team.. it finally happened after 2 and half years.. yet there was 12 confirmation on Monday, but at Sunday evening, there was 7 people standing at sinhgadh but ya.. it was thoroughly enjoyable trip with lots of fun with each other, although it was the slowest in terms of time compare to my other 3 trek here.... but that was understandable as it was a bit tough for 2 team member as they are totally out of touch for any kind of exercise..... click here for pics
lets see when I go for next trek... eagerly waiting for the next weekend...

Greediness of people.... Two extremes...

Last year, I was learning swimming at our society’s swimming pool. Society hired instructor and person needs to pay 250 Rs for learning. At the end of the course, I goes to life guard and gave him 300 Rs as I don’t have change. Life guard also don’t have change at that time so I told him to keep the change… as he is poor man and doing his job very well.
Few months back, he got possession of his new flat (actually he didn’t buy this flat but builder bought his land and construct new big building on it, so as compensation, he got this flat) and he asked me if I want to rent this flat. Rent is 6k for me with 25k deposit, but if I don’t want then he asked me to put advertise in our company’s group with rent is 7k. I saw the flat, obviously builder didn’t make this flat with thought of selling so flat is not so good plus it doesn’t have balcony at all so I simple not interested.. but one of my dear friend, Mukesh is interested as he is searching for cheap flat, I told him about it and said that rent is 7k but he was reluctant to pay this much. I told just see the flat one, then we can negotiate with life guard about rent, maybe he would be ready for 6.5k rent.
We went to see the flat, and to my surprise life guard reduced the rent to 6.5k just by knowing that Mukesh is my friend… but mukesh is too greedy…. He wants 6k rent, I said to life guard, make it 6k rent with 30k deposit. Just a pause for a moment and he was ready… said that only because of you, I am ready for this much amount otherwise many agents (brokers) contacted me with promise of 7.5k rent and 40-50k deposit…. What should I say… I say thank you…. And he was so blindly trusting on me that he wants to do agreement either in marathi (he doesn’t understand English) or in presence of me even if agreement is in marathi…..
I know why he is trusting me blindly……. May be because of that 50 Rs and few times I talked to him, hi – hello…how r u type talk.. just a formal talk…..
Lifeguard is poor man yet he is not interested in broker’s money….. and our previous landlord….. my god… I have never seen more greedy person than him… actually that flat is not his own but his brother who stays at Mumbai so he was the who deals with us….earlier we were 3 person so we made agreement according to that and rent was 6.5k decided. Later, one of our friends came so we had just informed him about that as good tenant. But he told us that he would increase the rent to 7k as now you are 4 person using flat… now its 2bhk flat so easily understandable that 4-5 person can share the flat but such a cunning he is…. He argued that according to agreement only 3 person could stay…. We don’t have any option but agree with him… that’s ok…. But later when we left the flat and one of my cousin’s friends were interested in that flat so we told our landlord that our friends want to rent your flat so please deal with him..so that they don’t give to extra money as brokerage as we knew each other n we r directly contacting you…but he has such a covetousness of money… he told.. no..they have pay brokerage as broker is my friend…(he must have his share in brokerage, i don't think greedy person thought about friend's earning...) plus he had increased rent to 30%..aah..… and it is not that he is poor guy.. he is well settled HR person and earning much more than that Lifeguard but……what a greediness, covetous he have……
